Some philosophers say GOD is evil, but how can they say that?
If they are so moral and righteous, it would have been GOD that gave them those virtues, and therefore, he couldn’t be evil.
So we can’t say that GOD is evil. Why? Because we are told, GOD created us in his image. This means if he is evil, so are we, and therefore we can’t trust our understanding of good versus evil. If we believe that we understand good and can judge goodness, then we must assume that the GOD who created us is good as well.
An evil GOD just couldn’t and wouldn’t have created good.
